We now include the cost of our plastic surgery procedures on our website so you can have a better idea what to expect at the end of your consultation.
Below is pricing on some of our common plastic surgery procedures. More specific procedure pricing is located on the individual surgical procedure pages, about halfway down the page.
All of Dr. Reath's surgical pricing includes both surgical and anesthesia fees, post-surgical garmets, a subscription to CosmetAssure, our exclusive recovery kit and all follow-up visits. The only things that your surgical fee does not cover is the cost of prescriptions and any lab reports, if necessary.
Cash Discount:
Great news! For our patients who would like to pay with cash or check, instead of credit card or financing, we offer a 5% discount.
If you are interested in financing your procedure, this will give you a better idea of the amount you would like to finance. You can also can plug your procedure price into the CareCredit Calculator to estimate your monthly payments.
Another Way We Care For Our Patients: CosmetAssure
Complications after cosmetic surgery are rare, thankfully, but they can occur as with any type of surgery. Many people are surprised to learn that the majority of major medical health insurance policies now exclude treatment of medical complications if those complications are a result of an elective aesthetic surgical procedure. All of our cosmetic surgery patients who are eligible are enrolled in the ASPS-endorsed CosmetAssure program which covers the cost of caring for complications after cosmetic surgery. It is included in the cost of each surgery.
We are the only plastic surgeon's office in the Knoxville area to provide this important insurance to cosmetic surgery patients. Dr. Reath explains why he feels it is important to provide this extra safety net to our patients in this recent Truth-O-Meter Tuesday video.
Breast Augmentation/Lift Confusion
The procedure that causes the most confusion in terms of expectations and pricing is actually breast augmentation. Many women are surprised to learn that a breast lift is actually the recommended procedure, rather than just a straight augmentation. After all, if you have small breasts, why would you need a lift, right?
The fact is that many women do need a breast lift along with augmentation to achieve a pleasing shape and perkiness. It happens most frequently with women who have had children, but not always.
Standing in front of a mirror, look at your nipples in relation to the natural crease of your breasts. If your nipples are lower than your breast crease before surgery, adding implants without removing excess skin will make them more saggy. (Sad, but true. You'll thank us ten years from now!)
If this sounds like you, you may also want to look at the breast lift procedure page for before and after photos. The pictures give you a better idea of when a lift is needed and the great results when performed along with an augmentation.
Body Lift Pricing
It is difficult to give you pricing for body lift surgery because the cost varies so widely from patient to patient. The cost is dependent on the amount of skin and fat to be removed and the time it will take in the operating room. Most patients will need to spend at least one night in the hospital but some require two nights and others can be treated as an outpatient. In addition, there will be a certain amount of labwork required.
During your consultation, you will be given a surgical quote which will detail these costs based on your particular needs. It will include surgery fees, anesthesia, any overnights, all follow-up visits and our exclusive recovery kit.
In some rare cases body lifts are considered "medically necessary" and not cosmetic in nature. At these times, insurance companies will cover some portion of these procedures. When this is the case, we do still require the full fees to be paid up front. As a courtesy we will file a claim after your operation to help you attain some reimbursement.
