Breast Augmentation PricingThe cost of a breast augmentation with Dr. Reath includes both surgical and anesthesia fees, saline implants, post-surgical bra, our exclusive recovery kit and all follow-up visits. Cash Discount: Standing in front of a mirror, look at your nipples in relation to the natural crease of your breasts. If your nipples are lower than your breast crease before surgery, adding implants without removing excess skin will make them more saggy. (Sad, but true.) If this sounds like you, you may also want to look at the breast lift procedure page for before and after photos. The pictures give you a better idea of when a lift is needed and the great results when performed along with an augmentation. Breast Lift pricing ranges from around $6,000 to $8,500 depending on the amount of skin to be removed and the type of implant you choose.
Scroll down to see several more before and after augmentation photographs of Dr Reath's patients:Before & After Augmentation: She is 5'4" and 116 pounds. This patient is a 28-year-old who had a significant reduction in breast tissue after breastfeeding. Dr. Reath used standard profile Mentor 275cc implants filled differently because the right breast is slightly larger than the left. He placed them underneath the muscle to restore her pre-baby figure.
Before & After Augmentation: She is 5'3" and weighs 108 pounds. Here is a young medical professional who came to us because she wanted larger breasts. After working with sizers, she chose 300cc moderate profile plus saline implants, which were then inflated to 350cc to achieve her new look.
Before & After Augmentation: She is 5' 6" and weighs 125 pounds. Here is a 34-year-old nurse who has A-cup breasts even after having three children. She worked with sizers in our office and chose 300cc moderate profile saline implants inflated to 350cc, which Dr. Reath placed underneath her chest muscles for this lovely, natural-looking result.
Before & After Augmentation: She is 5'4" and weighs 135 pounds. A very active 37-year-old mother of one, she had always wanted larger breasts. Dr. Reath used 375cc silicone gel implants placed underneath her chest muscles for the lovely results below.
Before & After Augmentation: She is 5'7" tall and weighs 159 pounds. Here is a 24-year-old who had been noticing an increasing lack of volume in her breasts while she was training for a marathon. She told us that was "just not the look she wanted." At the same time, she did not want to be too large and have her breasts get in the way while she excercised. Dr. Reath used 300cc Moderate Profile saline implants placed underneath her chest muscles to get the size just right.
Before & After Augmentation: She is 5'0" tall and weighs 115 pounds. This 36-year-old mother of two explained that she had always had small breasts and that bothered her. But even more than that she said she wanted to be more "proportional." Dr. Reath used moderate profile saline implants and placed them below her chest muscles. Both were 300cc implants and the one one the right was inflated to 325cc and the one on the left to 350cc. She is thrilled with her results.
Before & After Augmentation: She is 5'6" and weighs 141 pounds. This patient is a 25- year-old who already had modest sized breasts, with a difference in her breast size. Because her left breast was slightly larger than the right, Dr. Reath used 325-cc saline implants, which were inflated to 380 ccs on the right and 360 ccs on the left. They were placed on top of the muscle. She is currently wearing a C cup and she is very happy with the shape and symmetry of her breasts.
Before & After Augmentation: She is 5'4" and 118 pounds. This is a 43-year-old who wanted to improve her figure after having children in her twenties. She told us that she had been thinking about a breast augmentation ever since and had finally decided to do something for herself. Dr. Reath used 275cc saline implants underneath her chest muscles and she was very happy with her results.
Before & After Augmentation: She is 5'4" and weighs 98 pounds. This is a very petite 25-year-old who had her breasts shrink after breast feeding. While she was pregnant, her breasts swelled to fit a c-cup bra and she really wanted to look like that again. Dr. Reath performed a breast augmentation using Mentor moderate profile 300 cc implants below the muscle. She is pictured less than a month after her surgery, feeling and looking great.
Before and After Augmentation: This is a 42-year-old physically active woman with a grown daughter who finally decided to do something for herself. She has always been dissatisfied with the size of her breasts. Dr. Reath performed a breast augmentation using two different implant sizes and shapes for this wonderful result.
Before & After Augmentation: This is a 21-year-old runner who wanted to go a bit larger but not have her breast size interfere with her athletic lifestyle. She is very pleased with her new figure.
Before & After Augmentation: This patient is 34 years old, 5'5" tall and weighs 143 pounds. She explained that she wanted to have a better size and a more "normal" contour to her breasts. She brought photographs into our office showing the look she wanted to achieve. After working with the sizers she and Dr. Reath chose 375cc Mentor Moderate Profile implants which were placed underneath the chest muscles.
Before & After Augmentation: This patient is a 27-year-old who is 5'6" tall and weighs 160 pounds. She was unhappy about both the size and shape of her breasts. She and Dr. Reath chose a Mentor High Profile 330cc implant to give her the makeover she wanted. Dr. Reath placed these implants under the muscle to create this new look for her.
The OperationThe good news is that breast augmentation is an outpatient procedure and does not involve an overnight stay in the hospital. The entire operation is done under general anesthesia and takes about an hour. At the end of the operation, patients are placed in a special bra to support their breasts. After recovery from the anesthesia, they go home in the care of their family. RecoveryOur Surgical Recovery Kits are a great personal touch. Patients tell us that the recovery kits we include with their surgeries are an area that really sets us apart. Each recovery kit contains items hand-picked to make your recovery faster and more pleasant. They are packaged in an attractive quilted spa bag. We put together everything you’ll need after surgery so you don’t have to. People who have had surgery with other doctors are amazed that we include these kits at no charge for all of our surgery patients. New! We now include medical-grade silicone shapes (which are medically proven to aid in healing and reduce the appearance of scars) in all of our breast augmentation recovery kits. Helping our patients manage a speedy recovery is one of our primary missions. Most patients are up and about the day after a breast augmentation or breast lift but instructed to rest and avoid any lifting. About a week after the operation patients are seen in the office to check their surgical sites and instruct them in massage and stretching exercises. Expect the stitches to be removed in about a week. Most women are able to return to normal activities in 7 to 10 days and usually need no more than a week off from work. Silicone is Back! The MemoryGel™ silicone breast implants you've been hearing about have been successfully used and trusted for 20 years by millions women all over the world. Why? Because these implants feel more like natural breast tissue - without compromising reliability or safety. After almost two decades of research and testing with surgeons and patients, MemoryGel™ breast implants are now available to women in the U.S. The FDA recently (November 2006) issued an approval that will allow the unrestricted use of silicone breast implants for most women. In the early 1990’s, silicone breast implants were removed from the market due to safety concerns. However, data that has been gathered since that time has proven these implants to be safe. This data was gathered over the last 14 years through an adjunct study that allowed the use of silicone implants for only very select patients. Dr. Reath is one of the plastic surgeons who participated in this study, and has been using silicone breast implants since that time. We now offer silicone breasts implants for women seeking breast enlargement, as long as they are over the age of 22. (The FDA feels that in some women breast development may not be complete until age 22.) Silicone implants can also be used in any women seeking breast reconstruction, or the correction of developmental abnormalities.
Plastic surgeons, who have not had experience with silicone implants through this study over the last 14 years, must complete a device education course prior to using these implants. Dr. Reath has been using silicone implants as an important part of his practice for over 20 years, and can offer them immediately. There are important differences in the use of saline and silicone implants. Understanding these differences comes with experience.
There has been so much talked and written about silicone implants for more than a decade. This has resulted in confusion on the part of many patients. This action by the FDA truly clears the air on the safety and use of silicone implants. And, most importantly, it has given women considering breast surgery important choices in the type of implant they wish to receive. Dr. Reath and his staff will continue to inform and educate patients about their options, so you can be confident in your implant decision.
